<p>Your mother walks in and greets your friends.</p>

<p><span class="mom">Hello <<=$name>>'s friends! Do you mind if an old woman like me joins in the fun?</span></p>

<p>She takes a seat next to Jamal and your cheeks burn with embarrassment. Oddly enough you noticed your mother was just as flustered. Her cheeks were visibly red from all the way over here. “Cmon mom, get outta here” you beg under your breathe.</p>

<p><span class="mom">No, this is my TV and my couch, I'll watch it if I want. Plus your friends are enjoying it</span></p>

<p>As your mother says “friends” you wonder where Julia is. The thought evades you when you notice how close your mother is to Jamal. It gives you a sick feeling in your stomach.</p>

<p>You push down the feeling and continue your assignment. When you look up you notice its only Jamal’s head again. You are a bit confused because  you didn't see your mother leave.</p>
